Peregrine XP Binoculars Overview Utilizing a new high pressure die-cast, lightweight Magnesium chassis, the new Peregrine XP delivers truest color, high image contrast and light transmission combined with rugged waterproof and submersible protection. With its water-repelling "NANO-Protection" coating on the 44mm objective lenses and oversized 30mm ocular lenses, images are always clear, even in rain and snow. The new dielectric mirror and XP optical coating make Steiner's XP lens technology unique and offer the discriminating user new levels of performance. High Depth of Field An added benefit is that the new design offers the user an exceptionally high depth of field, uncommon with roof prism binoculars and extremely beneficial in low light wildlife observation.
